First State Bank Congratulates Ashby on Promotion

First State Bank of the Florida Keys congratulates Jermy Ashby, on his promotion to Assistant Vice President, Bank Legal Counsel.

“Jermy’s promotion and expanded responsibilities are a reflection of his legal knowledge and experience,” said Gary Carney, EVP/Chief Credit Officer.  “We are proud to promote him and look forward to his continuing contributions to the Bank.”

Ashby joined the Bank in 2012 as Bank Legal Counsel/Legal Officer.  He is a native Conch, graduate of Key West High School, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida.  He is a mentor with Take Stock In Children, a board member for The Key West Theater and Community Stage, and a member of Leadership Monroe County, Class XXVI.
