Key West Poetry Guild will hold its monthly Open Mic on April 8th
The Key West Poetry Guild will hold its monthly Open Mic on April 8th at 7pm at United Universalist Church at 801 Georgia St in Old Town Key West. Always on the First Sunday at 7pm, always free and open to the public. All we ask is poets bring their original work.
Flower, along with Bottle Cap owner, Carolyn, will host a poetry movie afternoon in April, on the 8th.. More details to follow–but basically Flower will read poetry by Charles Bukowski, we will watch the movie Barfly, then there will be an open mic.
Local authors seeking publication of their short stories or poetry are invited to submit to Decimos – We Say, a new literary magazine for the Florida Keys; the 4th issue is currently availed in local stores. Details are available at decimos.org.
