Young Adult Fiction Writers’ Workshop Openings
Key West, Florida – Join Young Adult fiction writer Kristen-Paige Madonia in a writers’ workshop in Key West January 15-19, 2018. Limited spaces are available for this all-levels workshop, “Writing Your Way into Y.A.” Participants will examine and discuss craft techniques used to create the unique tone and momentum found in young adult literature. The cost is $550 for the five-day program. Enrollment is limited to twelve participants per workshop to ensure individual attention.
Madonia is the author of two young adult novels published by Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers. She holds a master’s degree in creative writing from California State University, Long Beach. She is a member of the University of Nebraska at Omaha low-residency MFA faculty and also teaches creative writing at James Madison University, Goochland County High School, and WriterHouse.
