News crew rides along

Last night, Sgt. Scott Ward in Key Largo did a short ride-along with this television news crew from CBS. They wanted to see what kinds of calls our deputies go on when the county is going through an evacuation and with the approach of a storm.

Truth be told, our calls for service are pretty light right now. We spend a lot of time checking vacant property and doing welfare checks on people who’s families are concerned about them.
