Shakespeare in Schools

Judy Hadley and a troupe of eight Fringe actors are traveling this month to schools throughout Monroe County. This two-part education program includes an in-class introduction to Shakespeare’s impact on the arts and pop culture, then the students are treated to a presentation of a Shakespeare play … in under 35 minutes!

This year’s selection, Romeo & Juliet, is included in the Monroe County School System curriculum — which teachers love.  The play also includes family drama, romance, and sword fights — which students love!
