Florida Keys Community College Donates to Samuel’s House

KEY WEST, FL, December 12, 2016— Faculty, staff, and friends of Florida Keys Community College brought dozens of toys for local children to the College’s annual Caribbean Holiday Party on Wednesday hosted by FKCC President Dr. Jonathan Gueverra and his wife Josephine. The toys were donated to Samuel’s House, a Keys-based non-profit organization that offers housing and supportive services for homeless women and intact families.

“The faculty, staff, and friends of the College are more than just employees who do their jobs and collect a paycheck.  Their generosity at times like these demonstrates their commitment to help the less fortunate in our community,” praised Gueverra.
