Fringe Theater Announces General Auditions

Fringe Theater Key West invites actors, used-to-be-actors, and wanna-be-actors to general auditions for the upcoming 2016-17 theater season. Auditions will be held on October 8 at 5pm and October 9 at 3pm in the Parish Hall of St Paul’s Episcopal Church, located at 401 Duval Street. Actors can audition on either day– or both!

“We’re very excited about this upcoming season,” says Fringe Theater’s new Artistic Director Rebecca Tomlinson. “We are doing more shows in more spaces, so it’s a great opportunity for us to get more people involved!”

Directors from Fringe’s mainstage season and its Shakespeare in Schools program will be looking for cast members. Actors are invited to memorize and perform a 1 minute(ish) monologue of their choosing, or they can wait and be given a monologue to read at the audition. Examples of monologues can be found at www.fringetheater.org.
