Fishermen’s Hospital Emergency Room Remodeling Starts Week of August 15^th

Thanks to the Auxiliary’s generous donation to Fishermen’s Hospital’s Foundation, the renovations in the Emergency Room are set to begin on Monday, August 15^th. Patients and guests will need to go to the main lobby for entrance to the ER. That section will be staffed and open 24 hours. The ER waiting room will be closed through Saturday, August 20^th.

The area will be repainted, new seating added (including bariatric and children’s area seating) along with new flooring in the waiting room, patient bathrooms, triage area, registration and break room. Some of the painting will be started in ER Registration the week of August 8^th, but it will still be open during that time.
