Community Foundation President Recognized Nationally for 25 Years of Work in Philanthropy

Dianna Sutton, President and CEO of the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys (CFFK), has received national recognition for her 25 years of dedication to the profession of philanthropy and her active participation in the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). With the commendation from the national Association, Ms. Sutton received a special 25-year pin to commemorate her service to the field and productive membership in AFP.

Ms. Sutton has served as President and CEO of the Community Foundation since 2004 and has over 30 years experience in nonprofit management. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), a professional distinction in the field of philanthropy that requires national certification through education, experience, performance and service.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals promotes ethical behavior in fundraising and serves to preserve and promote philanthropy and volunteerism. The organization’s members raise more than $100 billion annually for charitable causes in America.

Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys builds philanthropy and matches donors to community needs. CFFK has granted more than $21 million to the community since 1996 through its donors to support the work of local nonprofit organizations. CFFK currently manages over 135 funds and endowments for individuals and other nonprofit organizations and causes throughout the Florida Keys.
