Explorers compete state-wide

The State Explorer Delegates Conference was in Leon County this year. Twenty two counties participated, competing in many law enforcement events including firearms, high risk traffic stops, building searches, firearms, crisis intervention, physical agility and domestic battery response. Monroe County fielded a small but competitive team this year which did very well, taking first place in firearms and tying for first place with Leon County in the Team challenge.
