The Council for A Livable World Endorses Annette Taddeo for Congress

Miami, FL — Today, the Council for A Livable World endorsed Annette Taddeo for Congress.

“More than two decades after the end of the Cold War, the threats posed by a nuclear exchange or nuclear terrorist attack are as prevalent as ever,” said John Isaacs, Senior Fellow at Council for a Livable World. “Annette’s vision of further arms control agreements with Russia and a national security policy that emphasizes programs to prevent terrorists from acquiring nuclear materials will make her a top congressional voice on these critical issues. Founded in 1962 by nuclear physicist Leo Szilard, the Council for A Livable World’s mission is to promote policies to reduce and eventually eliminate nuclear weapons and to minimize the risk of war. The Council works directly with Congress to advocate for sensible national security policies and arms control. The Council’s sister organization is the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation.
