10th annual Mara Tri triathlon, it is a USAT sanctioned race, located in heart of the Keys, Sombrero Beach, Marathon.
 
You can come to watch/ volunteer and cheer everyone on, or race, individually or break it up and make a team- each taking either swim, bike or run. The best thing is it supports a great cause, the Special Olympics Monroe, and our Monroe Special Olympic athletes will be giving out the medals. It’s a wonderful event that has great awards and even prizes for best team costume!
 
Two Distances
 
Mini Tri – perfect for beginners- of all ages, swim 400 meters, bike 6.8 mile, run 1.55 miles
 
Sprint Tri– swim 800 meters, bike 13.6 miles and run 3.1 miles
