Florida Health Announces Healthy Valentine’sDay Facebook Contest

Tallahassee, Fla.—Florida Health is proud to announce the launch of the first of many social media contests through the department’s Facebook page. The interactive contests will continue throughout 2016 and are designed to highlight ways Floridians are working to be healthy in 2016.

The first contest is a Valentine’s Day themed photo contest, starting today, Feb. 1 through Feb. 15. Participants should submit photos showing how they plan to celebrate a Healthy Valentine’s Day. Instead of gifting their significant other the typical box of chocolates, photos of healthier treats are the goal.

After submitting a photo, contributors can vote for their favorite entry by liking the photo in the Facebook album. The submission with the most likes will win a 4-pack of Florida State Parks day passes. The winner will be announced on Monday, Feb. 22.

To get started with the contest, download a copy of the contest rules and view the full contest description on Florida Health’s Facebook page.
