   Turkey is obviously attempting to leverage its irredentist aims by invoking NATO’s article 5. I hope we don’t lose sight of the fact that the so-called Turkish territory where the Russian fighter aircraft was downed was annexed by Turkey from Syria back in 1939.
   What next? Turkey’s claim of ownership of the Balkans based on the Ottoman’s holding of the area for 5 centuries?…We can’t even get Turkey to retrograde from Cyprus where they invaded in 1974.
   Talk about the fox in the henhouse!
