Key West Recycles Festival
Don’t miss the Key West Recycles Day Festival on Saturday, November 21st from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
To celebrate America Recycles Day, the City of Key West is hosting an R4 Fair, showcasing how you can reduce, reuse, recycle and rot!
Waste Management is sponsoring a Recycled Art Contest for Key West school students. The winning student in each category will take home a $20 gift card for themselves and a $100 gift card for their classroom teacher or school. The theme is Robots and the rules are reused and recycled materials only except for duct tape, nails, screws, and glue.
There will also be an art contest for adults, using the same recycling rules, but no theme. There will be booths, music, art and even a yard sale, for a different perspective on recycling!
So come down to Bayview Park Saturday and let’s celebrate preserving island life!
