Fronted by Eugene Snowden and Katie Burkess, the Orlando-based, soul-stirring, hands-to-heaven soul-rock revue The Legendary JCs drink deeply from the well of the golden age of soul, dripping with the tone of a bygone, gospel-flavored generation when Stax/Volt and Jerry Wexler’s Atlantic were the top dogs.
