9/11 Ceremony on Facebook Live

The City of Key West invites the community to honor the first responders of 9/11 in a new way this year. Due to the Covid-19 health emergency, the ceremony will not be open to the public. However, it will be shared on Facebook live beginning at 8:30.

Each year the community honors the brave souls and the fallen victims of the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001 in New York, Washington D.C. and in Pennsylvania.

Several dignitaries will be on hand to speak and, at the actual times that each tower of the World Trade Center was hit by a plane, the bell will be rung.

Though the community cannot participate in this memorial in person, we hope everyone will tune in to Facebook live to honor our first responder heroes.
