3rd and Final King and Queen of FANTASY FEST Info Session Tuesday, August 9th

The third and final Summer Information Session about candidacy for the King and Queen of FANTASY FEST 2016 will take place Tuesday August 9th, at the Southernmost Beach Resort, 508 South Street.

Held in the poolside conference room, the 6 p.m. event offers the last opportunity to learn more about the King and Queen legacy among Agency staff, supporters and former and current Royalty.

“Because of scheduled vacations and other obligations, some Candidates were unable to attend our July session,” notes Scott Pridgen, Executive Director of AIDS Help, the Agency that benefits from the fundraising campaign. “It’s always our goal to have everyone in the same room and on the same page.”

This year’s thematic (always distinct from the official FANTASY FEST platform) is ‘Hocus P.OT.U.S.’. It’s apt, considering this year’s political climate, says Pridgen.

“We look at this way…why settle for the Presidency and four years of headaches when you can be King or Queen for 12 months?” he remarks.

After the official Friday, August 26th Kickoff at The Southernmost House at 6 p.m., a series of frisky, feisty and always fabulous series of fundraising events will strive to raise the most money until The Royal Coronation.

This year, the crowning will be presented by the Casa Marina, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, 1500 Reynolds Street, on Friday, October 21st.
