2024 Presidents’ Day Cookout to take place on the grounds of the Harry S. Truman Little White House in Key West

On Monday, February 19, from 11:30am – 1:30pm, the Harry S. Truman Little White House, 111 Front Street, Key West, FL, will provide the setting for a family-friendly “Presidents’ Day Cookout” on the grounds where 33rd U.S. President Truman spent 11 working vacations from 1945-53.

Admission to the grounds is free, and attendees can enjoy hamburgers, veggie burgers, and hotdogs straight from the grill with the purchase of picnic tickets at the door. A cash bar will be available and attendees are welcome to bring a picnic blanket for the lunchtime event which will also include music and simple lawn games.

The Presidents’ Day Cookout takes place on the final day of the 2024 “Presidential Families Weekend,” an annual multi-day event presented by the Key West Harry S. Truman Foundation in partnership with The Society of Presidential Descendants which features a moderated discussion among distinguished descendants of past United States presidents.
