Individual and all-access tickets for the 11th Annual Key West Film Festival are on sale now via the Key West Film Festival website! The event will take place from November 16th -20th, and the lineup is available for viewing on their website as well, which includes major fall films from Rian Johnson, Ethan Coen, Luka Dhont, Billy Corben, Noah Baumbach, and many more. The festival is known as a celebration of contemporary cinema in an artistically vibrant and diverse island community. During the festival, the best Florida filmmaking content is showcased, and visiting filmmakers and industry leaders are connected and celebrated via discussions and workshops. The festival has been named one of the “25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World” by Moviemaker Magazine

The KWFF’s short film lineup for the 2022 festival includes World Premiers, Sundance Favorites, and Florida Filmmakers. The roster is highlighted by award winners from film festivals across the globe, including South by Southwest, Sundance, and Tribeca. The programs will focus on entertaining, quality work throughout its lineup of 50 films, selected from several submissions. Work from Florida Filmmakers will highlight the 11th festival. It will also be heralding the next generation of storytellers with its Florida Student Filmmaker Program.

The festival will be opened by Daniel Craig’s return in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Murder Mystery, from the 2019 hit Knives Out. The closing night feature will be Women Talking, in which Sarah Polley directs one of the greatest ensembles of women ever assembled. It has also been announced that Erin Lee Carr will be honored with the Golden Key for Excellence in Documentary Filmmaking. She is to attend the festival and participate in a discussion of her work with Alissa Wilkinson of Vox.com. Carr is a two-time Emmy nominated producer, director, executive producer, and writer.
