Lemonade Stand Gallery Annual Small Works Show

The Small Works Exhibit Entries are open! The Lemonade Stand Gallery’s Annual Small Works Show started in 2005 and since then has exhibited artists from around the globe. The Deadline is Feb. 12, 2016 at 11:59.

We are pleased to announce a few of this years jurors:  Jed Dodds: Executive Director-The Studios of Key West (tskw.org), Elizabeth Young: Executive Director-Florida Keys Council of the Arts (keysarts.com), and Dianne Zolotow: former owner of Lucky Street Gallery.

The entry process is easy.  The only requirement is that the finished work is under 10 inches in any direction including the frame.  All media is considered as long it is original – this includes photography. A selected jury determines which pieces get chosen for this year’s exhibit. Artists have the opportunity to enter up to three pieces.  If a piece is sold, the payment to the artist is a 50/50 gallery split. Together, the gallery and artist will determine the price before the opening reception. Artists are responsible for shipping to and from the gallery.

This year we are using “Call for Entry” for our entry process. We chose them because a lot of Florida Keys artists might already have an account and the South Florida Cultural Consortium Grant uses Call For Entry as well.

Deadline for Entries is: 2/12/2016 at 11:59 pm. We will email you your results on Feb. 22nd.  The Opening Receptions are open to the public and will be held on March 18 and 19, 2016 at the Lemonade Stand Gallery, 318 Petronia Street in Key West.
