New Hampshire Senate President Endorses Jeb Bush

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Senate President Chuck Morse, one of New Hampshire’s top ranking Republicans, is throwing his support behind former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush in the Republican race for the presidential nomination.
Morse says Bush stands “head and shoulders” above the rest of the Republican field, which includes more than a dozen candidates. Morse, of Salem, will serve as co-chairman of Bush’s New Hampshire campaign. Bush is spending considerable time in the first primary state as he seeks to edge out rivals such as Ohio Gov. John Kasich (KAY’-sik), Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and businessman Donald Trump.
Morse says Bush’s record in Florida shows he knows how to lower taxes and spur job growth, two things needed in Washington.
He says “what we need in Washington is change.”
