Acoustic surf musician Donavon Frankenreiter to perform concert at Fort East Martello
On Sunday, August 30, pro surfer-turned musician Donavon Frankenreiter will send out his breezy, laid-back vibes and upbeat lyrics in an early evening concert at historic Fort East Martello, 3501 S. Roosevelt Blvd.
Hosted by Key West Art & Historical Society and Key West Concerts, the show is part of The Society’s “Music at Martello Series”, a program established to promote the arts and bring live music to the Keys and foster the Fort as a community venue with more music in the coming months.
Frankenreiter will perform from nearly ten years of solo hit recordings, including his May 2015 release “The Heart”. The concert also features Australian pop singer Cody Simpson and his recent record release “Free”, an effort Frankenreiter contributed to.
The concert is sponsored in part by Florida Keys Media, We Cycle, WonderDog Productions. Portions of the evening’s proceeds will help fund KWAHS initiatives. A cash bar and Key West select food vendors will be available on the concert’s parade grounds.
