Leadership Monroe County Class XXIV Recruitment and Reception July 10 at Hawks Cay

Leadership Monroe County invites the public to the second of three social receptions to introduce the program for the upcoming Class XXIV which begins in October and meet alumni and Board, Friday, July 10, at Hawks Cay, on Duck Key, @5:30-7:00.

Class members will learn about the 2015-16 sessions, and the scope, mission and benefits of becoming part of this county wide program which seeks to build relationships for constructive alliances among Florida Keys leaders in the public and private sectors.

Founded in 1992, the program is aimed at residents who are active in leadership roles in the private sector, government, or nonprofit community. Through a series of one and multi-day sessions, over a seven month period, topics examined include the environment and natural resources, tourism and the economy, government, education, military, the law and judiciary, emergency management, arts and culture, health and human services, as well as leadership skill development.
