Board members will give brief presentations followed by questions and comments on a variety of current board projects, including:
- Shallow wells for treated waste water
o What Last Stand’s expert witnesses say about impacts to water quality on Stock Island
o What the Cudjoe Key tracer dye study tells us about risks to water quality
- Building Height

o Key West elevation for flood protection – new construction interpretation issue
- Key West transportation hot buttons
o Bicycle master plan requirements
o Sight-seeing tour vehicle franchise agreements
Last Stand’s mission is to promote, preserve and protect the quality of life in the city of Key West, the Florida Keys and their environs, with a particular emphasis on the natural environment. We are holding this information session to provide our members and the general public with a better idea of how we are fulfilling our mission with regard to these topics. The board will also be soliciting opinions and priorities for a potpourri of other topics we have been following on the city, county, state and federal levels.
Admission is free. Light refreshments will be served. Program begins at 5:45 and ends at 7:30pm.
