Key West Artisan Market “Ocean Awareness” Edition This Sunday

The Key West Artisan Market: Ocean Awareness Edition will be held Sunday, April 5th from 10 am to 2 pm at the Restaurant Store parking lot, 1111 Eaton St. The Market follows the 6th Annual Mote Marine Laboratory Florida Keys Ocean Festival & Waterfront Craft Show on Saturday, April 4th at the Eco-Discovery Center and strives to continue to promote the important message of ocean awareness through positive marine stewardship. Local artisans at the Market include culinary, textile, jewelry, wood, artists & crafters, curiosities, the Konk Life Local Author’s Nook, a live variety show, beer, wine and art in Garage Mahal, food concessions and a produce market. In addition, the Key West Aquarium will have a Touch Tank set up with sea stars, horseshoe crabs, sea cucumbers, hermit crabs, queen conch and sea urchins. Guests are encouraged to ride bikes or take the bus which conveniently stops in front of the Restaurant Store. There will be plenty of bicycle parking but limited vehicle space. Parking courtesy of Strunk Ace Hardware and Manley deBoer Lumber Company. Alternative parking only 2 blocks away in the Old Town Garage at Grinnell and Caroline for $2/hour. Please BYOB (bring your own bags).
